Sungwon Lim

Sungwon is a venture investment specialist for startups and entrepreneurs with over 15 years of professional experience in IT sector in Korea. From 2010 to 2016, he was a chief investment manager at SVIC (Samsung Venture Investment Corporation). Sungwon was responsible for global investments in mobile and CE sector and has invested in over 20 startups. His notable investments include PrimeSense, Swype, Jibo, and Bluestacks in USA and Podotree, DRGEM, SeWorks, Carvi, and Selcos in Korea. Prior to joining SVIC, Sungwon has had 10 years of managerial experience in corporate strategic planning function at Samsung Electronics.

Sungwon has received MBA degree from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology), MA in Public Policy from the Graduate Institute of Peace Studies and BS in Public Policy from Korea University.
